Antonia grew up in a creative household .Encouraged by her mother, a painter, and father, a photographer, she pursued painting and art from an early age. She took painting lessons from local Connecticut artists beginning at the age of ten. After high school she continued her studies at Eastern Connecticut State University and Silvermine Guild Art Center in New Canaan, Connecticut.
